gdscript is like python so its extremely easy to learn and master if you know python , if you don't know python you might have a little trouble but nah you'll win.

hey if you know python then you can spend like 2-3 months to get a hang of GDScript. But yeah just learn C++ if you even want to see yourself working for any AAA studio or C# if you want to work for AA studios let's say inside and Limbo were made in Unity so yeah C# for that.

If you are just starting out and know nothing about programming, use Godot. Later try Unity and understand that Godot is not Unity's rival yet. Forget about scandals. Unfortunately, most developers will not pay Unity a penny, because their games will not bring profit. But even if you are the chosen one, Unity takes a percentage that you will not feel.
